The second game started out brilliant. Michelle did a wonderful save, kicked it out to me, where it trapped it beautifully, zig zagged up the pitch, pulled all the defenders to me slowed down for the rest of the team to catch up and at the last minute I passed it to Tullia who put it into the goal! YAY we scored. And did I mention all the lads were watching us and witnessed our magic moment. That little trick I learned from my indoor team just before moving and it worked wonders! By then we were pooped and wanting to get everyone a chance to play, so Tullia and I went out. Then the unimaginable happed they scored two points back to back on us. So sad.

Oh sweet mother... it's not a pitch! It's a field!
ARRRGGHHH, we're losing it, we're losing it!
I'm giving all she's got captian, I just haven't got the power!
Mr. Scott............. we need...... to get her out of this pull!
Or something. :) Sounds like a heck of a time. Much better than when I played cricket.

Where were the women from that hadn't played before. I thought everyone in Europe played football(soccer). Are the people leaving because the time on their green cards is up or for another reason.
Ben's Mm
Most of the Irish women did not grow up playing football since they were playing Gaelic Football or Camogie which is the female version of the Gaelic game hurling. Or they played field hockey. The Italian girl played vollyball instead of football.
My coworkers left to move back to Australia, "retire" to have children, and the last one was going to another firm.
